The Apostle's Build Partnership 2008

The work of Habitat for Humanity is driven by the desire to give tangible expression to the love of God through the work of eliminating substandard housing. It is appropriate that the church – Christ’s body in the world – is Habitat’s primary partner in its work.

As Jesus’ original apostles were charged with spreading the word about Him, our twelve apostles are charged with assisting in Habitat’s mission to provide shelter for God’s children.

Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?” And I said, “Here I am; send me!” Isaiah 6:8
